I opened the fridge for milk and heard a sharp snap from the door.
The plastic bin sagged forward, and the bottles inside shifted like they were about to dump onto the floor.
I held the bin up with one hand and tried pressing the clip back into place with my thumb.
It looked straight for half a second, then dropped again as soon as I let go.
I was standing there with the fridge open, cold air pouring out, doing the same push-and-check move like the clip might suddenly behave.
It did not.
So I moved the heavy bottles onto the top shelf and filed a maintenance ticket before bed.
