I borrowed the lobby package cart for a heavy box and knew something was wrong before I even reached the elevator.
One wheel locked sideways.
Every time I pushed, the cart veered toward the wall and squealed across the lobby floor.
I tried nudging the wheel straight with my foot.
It snapped right back.
So I ended up doing that awkward half-push, half-drag walk while people tried to get around me.
The box was too heavy to carry, and the cart was too stubborn to steer.
By the time I made it to the elevator, I was more annoyed at the cart than the package.
I told the front desk the wheel was stuck before someone else got stuck doing the same lobby dance.
