I pulled my laundry out of the dryer and smelled something burnt right away.
Most of the clothes were fine.
Then I found my work shirt.
One sleeve had a brown scorch mark running across the cuff like it had been pressed against something too hot.
I took a picture and sent it to the laundry company through the app.
They asked for proof that the shirt had not been damaged before the cycle.
I stared at the message for a while because I had no idea how I was supposed to prove a sleeve was normal before drying it.
The office told me the machines were handled by a vendor.
The vendor sent another form.
The sleeve stayed burned.
